Enjoy the perfect blend of zest and sweetness with this Refreshing Aperol Orange Sorbet. Ideal for spring or summer, it combines Aperol's unique flavor with fresh oranges for a delightful dessert!

Ingredients needed:

Make the simple syrup by heating the water and granulated sugar over medium heat. Remove and allow to cool.

Puree the fresh strawberries until completely smooth.

Optional - strain seeds from strawberry puree  with a sieve or cheesecloth.

Add the cooled syrup, lemon juice, and zest to the strawberry puree.

Whisk together and chill in the fridge until well chilled. Assemble ice cream machine (with pre-frozen canister) and pour the chilled mixture in.

Churn per your manufacturer's instructions (typically 20-25 minutes) or until the consistency is about that of a thick smoothie.

Pack into a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours. When ready to serve, allow to sit for a few minutes for easier scooping.

Serve with lemon slices and/or extra strawberries for garnish, if desired.
