This easy lemon lime homemade sorbet recipe is sweet, tart, and super refreshing. It’s the perfect way to cool down for the summer or a dessert after a rich meal to cleanse your palate. 

Ingredients needed:

Make the simple syrup by dissolving the sugar in the water in a small saucepan over medium heat. 

Allow the syrup to cool and add the citrus juices and zest. Chill for 1-2 hours then pour into the frozen canister of an ice cream machine. 

Churn for about 25-30 minutes and pour into a freezer safe container. Press parchment paper to the surface and wrap in tin foil or an airtight lid. Freeze for at least 4 hours.

When ready to serve, allow to sit for a few minutes before scooping into individual servings. Garnish with lemon and lime slices, if desired.
